UF's Gators for UNICEF is hosting a fundraiser at Bob's River Place on Sunday October 10

"Bob’s River Place is a private residence located on the Suwannee River, complete with rope swings, tree forts, water slides, volleyball courts, floating docks, a karaoke station and even a zip line! The floods in Pakistan, on the other hand, are not quite as exciting or pleasant. Since the floods in July more than 20 million people have been left with no shelter or clean water and have been ridden with disease…10 MILLION OF WHICH ARE CHILDREN!
This is where we need your help! Come out to Bob’s on 10.10.10 to support these children. Admission to the park is $15 per car so grab a few friends and get ready for a day full of hanging out and frolicking on the river! We will also be having a BBQ cookout for a $5 donation so come hungry! We all realize that it’s LSU weekend and everyone will be celebrating the victory the night before, and thus, we have scheduled the event for 12 noon but feel free to come and go as you please!"

Its a new semester, and we have many many events coming up. Namely, the PSA Annual show as well as the Basant festival are coming up soon. This Wednesday there will be a general body meeting in Little Hall room 109 that you must attend if you plan on participating in the show. Here is some more information:
The PSA Annual Show Prep Meeting:
Actors-->we have a few skits already so all actors should have a role in any one of the skits.
Dancers-->the dancing updates on what you wear, when we are performing, and any important dates are going to be discussed at this meeting.
Models-->practice dates, outfits, and themes of the fashion show are going to be announced.
Techs-->we are going to be letting you know what you are doing backstage
Skit Committee-->this is the meeting where we can figure out how to put this together. you'll be working with the e-board.
That should give you a general outline on how this meeting will play out. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ATTEND!! This is the start of the preparation, so if you are participating in the show, this is the meeting to attend to save your spot on stage!

Welcome back! Ramadan Mubarak and we hope the first day of class wasn't too bad. PSA's new website is up and still under construction.
